Updates
Dear Brown Community Members,
I am writing with a reminder that today was the last day of COVID-19 testing at the OMAC site on College Hill. Starting tomorrow – Wednesday, Sept. 8 – all tests will take place at one of three testing sites: Alumnae Hall, Andrews House or One Davol Square. Please review carefully which testing site location you have scheduled your test for and arrive during your designated testing time window (tests are scheduled to limit lines and waiting).
The two new testing sites we are opening in place of OMAC are:
- Alumnae Hall, lower level (Pembroke Campus), 194 Meeting Street - Enter Alumnae Hall at the far side of the building from Meeting Street. From Meeting Street, walk the path to the left of Alumnae Hall and follow the signs to the rear entrance. The check-in stations are immediately inside the door.
- Andrews House (across from Keeney Quadrangle, former location of Health Services), 13 Brown Street - Andrews House is south of the College Green on Brown Street, across from Keeney Quad. From Brown Street, take the path to the left of Andrews House and follow the signs to the side entrance. You will be directed to a check-in station upon entering the facility. Limited short-term parking while actively being tested is available behind the building (enter from Charlesfield Street) for those who may need to drive to the site. Note that Andrews House is not the same building as Andrews Hall, which is a residence hall, or Andrews Commons, which is a dining facility, both on Pembroke Campus.
Additional staff will be present at both of these testing sites over the coming days to help with way-finding. The testing site in the Jewelry District at One Davol Square will continue as currently operating. Further information regarding the testing sites and operating hours can be found online.
Sincerely,
Russell C. Carey
