To Brown Students: Final Reminder to Provide Your Off Campus Address

Updates

Dear Student,

We hope that you are doing well. We are writing to follow up on previous communications you have received in July and August from the Office of Residential Life instructing you to provide your current off-campus address to the University through Banner Self Service

Every year, students who live off campus are required to provide their off-campus address. This information is particularly critical in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, when we all have important roles in play in protecting community health.

If you have not yet provided your current off-campus address, you must do so by 11:59 pm on Monday, September 7, 2020. If you have not entered your current off-campus address by this time, you will be referred to the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards, and you may be subject to discipline for failure to comply.

We appreciate your cooperation in providing this information as soon as possible.

As an additional reminder, during the 14-day Quiet Period on campus, students who reside off campus are required to remain off campus, with no access to campus buildings, including residence halls, permitted. Off-campus students are not permitted to come to campus except to get a COVID-19 test, receive care from Health Services if an appointment has been made in advance, or if they have been cleared to work in a campus research laboratory.

Thank you in advance for adhering to these essential health and safety protocols as we all continue to contend with this global health emergency.

Sincerely,
Eric Estes
Vice President for Campus Life
