Reporting Concerns

Everyone at Brown can help to support a healthy campus environment by reporting behaviors inconsistent with or in violation of the University’s COVID-19 Campus Safety Policy. Members of the community can choose to report in the way that is easiest and most comfortable for them.

  • Brown employees may choose to contact their supervisors or University Human Resources at [email protected].
  • Anyone at Brown can submit a report via the web from anywhere on campus by using a mobile device to scan the QR code found on reporting posters, or by visiting brown.edu/go/covidconcernreporting. All reports will be given careful attention by the appropriate Brown University administrators.
  • You can also submit an anonymous report through Brown’s existing Anonymous Reporting Hotline, either via the web or by calling 877-318-9184. This hotline may be used to report behaviors inconsistent with or in violation of Brown’s COVID-19 Campus Safety Policy or about a variety of other ethical and compliance concerns. The hotline is meant for reporting issues in situations in which you don't feel comfortable speaking with a supervisor or another resource. The hotline is staffed and managed by a third-party provider, and all reports are given careful attention by the appropriate Brown University administrators.
  • The above reporting methods are not a 911 or emergency service. Emergency situations at Brown that require an immediate response should be directed to the Brown Department of Public Safety at 401-863-4111.
