Health Protocols

Brown's health measures, policies and interventions are based on expert public health guidance to prevent and mitigate the spread of novel coronavirus on campus.

Brown has developed and implemented a public health plan to make it possible for the University to conduct on-campus operations in the 2020-21 academic year with the confidence that the health of students and employees will be protected to the best extent practicable. This includes having all members of the Brown community engaged in on-campus activity vaccinated by July 1, 2021. Elements of the University's plan are based on the guidance of medical experts and public health protocols for managing infectious diseases of pandemic proportions.

For the most up-to-date information on the status of face covering and social distancing requirements, consult the policies currently in effect on the Campus Activity Status page.
